Mikkel Arndt

Mikkel Arndt graduated from the Acting School at Aarhus Theatre, 2000-2004, and already in 2004 received excellent reviews for his debut performance as Michael Strunge in the production "Marcus Hitengel" at Svalegangen in Aarhus.

Since then, Mikkel has been at the forefront of Danish theater. From 2005 to 2008, he was part of the ensemble at Mungo Park, and thereafter at the Royal Danish Theatre from 2008 to 2016. At the Royal Danish Theatre, Mikkel was a consistent presence in "Det Røde Rum" (The Red Room). Since 2016, he has worked as a freelance actor, collaborating with theaters such as Betty Nansen, Republique, Østre Gasværk, and the Royal Danish Theatre.

Mikkel is a team player. He believes in the strength of a group working together to tell a story, both in theater and film.

Known for

Mikkel covers a wide range of genres, from grand Shakespeare productions on the biggest stages to experimenting with new Danish drama on the smallest stages. We also know him as both a fairytale villain and an organic farmer in film and TV, where he has become nationally recognized for his roles in productions such as "Arvingerne" (The Legacy), "Bedrag" (Follow the Money), and "Skammerens datter II" (The Shamer's Daughter II).
